I just, for the first time in my life, don’t want to die. It’s the first time that I’ve got something to look forward to in life.

The jail’s what’s changed me - for the better - made me want to stay off drugs. It’s weird how a prison could do that to people, eh? Change me to the point where I don’t want to die anymore? It’s just made me face reality straight and it’s not as bad as I thought it was. Reality is what you make it.
