Better to be poor and honest than rich and dishonest.

There’s no right way to do a wrong thing, which means wrong is wrong. I’m in prison, yes, which means I did wrong. And because it’s wrong there’s no right way of justifying it.
There’s no justification for violence, in my opinion, because violence begets violence.
Trust is something you earn.
I fear what’s out there, because I don’t know what’s out there and man fears what he does not know. I only have seen a ledger, but I haven’t seen the map.

People who work with prisoners for any amount of time become prisoners themselves.

I am free. I consider myself, even though I’m a prisoner, more free than 80% of the people on the outside. Everyone who is free knows they are free. It’s not a physical thing you can measure your freedom by.
