Update: Susanne lived well for a number of years after she was granted parole. ultimately she violated her parole in 2007 (believed to have fled the country) and was still being searched for by police in 2013. However, a rumour that she was in a particular city in the states proved to be false. I don’t know if she was found, or how she is now. She no longer seems to be looked for by the police.
Hoping she has rediscovered her joy.
