Be not a whisper lost in the wind
Rather be a voice
That is heard above the confusion
Of the storms of life
The application of racism is so subtle that most people that work here don’t even realize that they’re enforcing a racist policy. They justify the racism by some other means.
There was three guys transferred from P.A. Pen to B.C Pen. Two of the guys were white people. Both were released into General Population of B.C. Pen. The native guy was kept in the penthouse, probably the most vile, suffocating, evil lock up in Canada.
His name was Andy Bruce. Council asked the warden, Dragon Cernetic, where it says he could release the white guys and keep the native guy locked up. We wanted Andy released. The next day Andy was released.
Pointing out racist policy like that, guys that do that, like me, are considered activists.
Someone has to do it.

Update: I haven’t been able to locate any current news about Robert. Michael Jackson, in his book, Justice behind the Walls (published in 2002), writes of Robert’s work within the prisons as a First Nations advocate.
